Hi there. We’re Danny and Thania, the husband-and-wife duo behind Tailored Vets, a program that was born from a deeply personal place. 

When Danny transitioned out of the Army, we noticed the lack of long-term, relationship-driven military mentorship programs available for veterans. Sure, there were resume workshops and job boards, but what about ongoing support? What about mentorship that stays with you beyond just the job offer? 

We created TailoredVets because we understand that the journey doesn’t end when you land a job. Transitioning service members often navigate from doubt to clarity, from job search to purpose, and from offer acceptance to facing challenges in team meetings and workplace conflicts. You need someone who’s been there, who gets it and can walk with you through it all. 

That’s where we come in. 

Together, we bring a balance of military, HR, and real-life experience: 

Danny served in the U.S. Army as an Infantryman and Recruiting Leader before building a career in corporate Human Resources and Talent Acquisition. He has led global talent teams as a recruiting leader and talent acquisition product evangelist, and has spent years helping veterans find careers that align with their skills and purpose.

Thania is a military spouse and a passionate HR professional with deep experience in talent strategy and military engagement. She is the founder of TailoredRecruitment, a boutique firm that tailors the hiring process for both companies and candidates. A portion of all Tailored Recruitment profits is donated to Tailored Vets to help the program keep growing. Thania has spent her career helping veterans translate their experience into meaningful careers.

TailoredVets is our passion project, something we work on during evenings and weekends, with the long-term goal of transforming it into a nonprofit organization dedicated to veteran support across the country.
